Does Mithrall have classes?
No classes, just choices. Your gear is your class. Every weapon and piece of gear grants its own abilities: heavy armour and hammers, swift blades or magic staves. Change your gear, change your role, and level through play with no locked path.
Which weapons are in Mithrall?
Steel, black powder and magic. The arsenal shown so far: war axe, warhammer, sword, mace, dagger, club, greatsword, maul, spear, halberd, bow, crossbow, slingshot, hand cannon, blunderbuss, long rifle, gatling gun, shield, tower shield and tome of knowledge, and the staves of the eight schools of magic.
A first look only: many more weapons are still on the anvil.
How does magic work in Mithrall?
There are eight schools of magic: Emberzul (Fire), Rimekhal (Frost), Vahlmun (Healing), Ankhaz (Arcane), Grothun (Nature), Solvahl (Light), Morgkul (Shadow) and Vhorrak (Storm).
No mana: every spell comes from your staff, and each school has its own one-handed and two-handed staves.
Is there PvP in Mithrall?
Yes, and you choose your risk. The Green Lands around the cities are safe. In the Orange Lands most keep the peace, but bandits do not. The Black Lands have no rules.
Battles run from skirmish to siege, for land, fortresses and resources, with skill-based combat where timing and position matter. Hardcore risk: what you carry can be lost when you fall.
Can you build and terraform in Mithrall?
Yes. The land itself is yours to change: dig and terraform the world, carve tunnels, open caverns and move the earth.
Build above or below ground: crown a peak with a fortress or hide your halls deep beneath the rock.
Can you claim land and rule it?
Land is power, and power is everything. Raise walls and fortify your base, then hold it against rival clans. Claim territory in the lawless lands, control its resources and set taxes to fund your conquests. Hold it long enough and become king of the server.
Is there crafting and a player economy?
Yes: an economy made by players, for players. Gather and craft everything the realm needs, from tools to siege gear. Master your crafts: the better your skill, the better what you make.
Trade in the city markets, then get your goods home safely. Materials and mastery decide how fine your gear can be, from crude to runeforged.
Are there mounts in Mithrall?
Hundreds, each with its own abilities: ground mounts for speed, strength and hauling, and flying mounts to scout enemy lines and reach hidden lands. Mountain rams, giant eagles and griffins are among them.
Is Mithrall first person or third person?
Third person. The team explains why in the devlog "Why Mithrall is Going Third Person".
